Future Leaders Award Winner 2021: Janessa Stang

Janessa is in her last year of the Master of Science in Audiology program at Dalhousie University. She grew up on a farm in rural Saskatchewan and always wanted to be an artist of some sort when she grew up. She graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance in 2015. She then made the move to study audiology after years of working as a freelance musician, motivated by her passion for music and sound and an eagerness to improve the lives of others. She also enjoys dabbling in other art mediums, including painting and drawing.
